The Bluetooth® Satellite Navigation systems that Renault uses are made up of either a 3D system that includes maps for 28 countries, and a 6-CD multi-changer with MP3 / CD reader (Carminat Bluetooth® DVD). Alternatively, there is a 2D system with a single country map, with a MP3 compatible single CD player. (Carminat Bluetooth® CD)

The navigation and telephone functions can be controlled via voice recognition or by the simple touch of the central joystick control. The audio system is simply operated using the controls on the steering wheel. Both systems include a 16:9 7" colour screen, and a Bluetooth hands-free telephone control with telephone address book transfer, so that you can select a telephone number using the controls on the steering wheel. The 3D system also benefits from voice recognition and a joystick control conveniently placed on the centre console.

  The navigation system automatically calculates the geographical position of the vehicle by receiving GPS signals. It suggests a route to your chosen destination using:
  • Its road map (on the "map" CD)
  • Information from the TMC traffic information service (depending on country).
  Finally, it indicates the route to take, step by step, using the display screen and voice messages.
