This document contains some important facts about Renault MOT Test Warranty and is designed to assist you in making an informed purchasing decision.

1. FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Renault MOT Test Warranty provides cover against the majority of repairs necessary as a result of a vehicle failing its MOT test.
2. CANCELLATION RIGHTS
We hope you will be happy with the cover this warranty provides. However, you have the right to cancel it within 14 days of receiving the warranty booklet, without giving any reason. If that happens you are entitled to a full refund and should contact our Customer Services Team (0870 752 7035) who will arrange the refund. Please note that your warranty cannot be cancelled and refunded more than 14 days after you receive the warranty booklet.
3. WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL MY RENAULT MOT TEST WARRANTY?
- Renault MOT Test Warranty cannot be purchased if there is less than 3 months before the next MOT test
- This warranty is not available on vehicles over 7 years old (or 100,000 miles from new)
- Certain specified parts are excluded from cover
- The cost of the MOT test (or re-test) is not covered by this warranty
- Parts noted as ‘advisory’ which do not fail the MOT test are not covered
- The maximum amount that can be claimed for repairs is £1,000 (including VAT)
- Your vehicle must be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations during the 12 month period covered by this warranty
- Vehicles used as a taxi, minicab, driving school or made available for hire or reward are excluded
- Any damage caused by incorrect or contaminated fuel is excluded

4. MAKING A CLAIM
If your vehicle fails its MOT test and you need to make a claim for warranty repairs, you should contact your local Renault dealer for instructions on how to proceed. Please make sure that you have your Renault MOT Test Warranty booklet and confirmation of cover letter available. If further help is required you may contact our Customer Services Helpline on 0870 752 7035.
5. HOW TO MAKE A COMPLAINT
We hope you will be happy with the service we provide. In the unlikely event of a complaint about this warranty, you should contact Renault Extended Warranty Administration on 0870 752 7035.
If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Insurer directly by writing to: The Risk Manager, Motors Insurance Company Limited, Jubilee House, 5 Mid Point Business Park, Thornbury, West Yorkshire, BD3 7AG.
If the Insurer is unable to settle any dispute to your satisfaction, short of court action, you have the right to ask the Financial Ombudsman Service to review your case. The right to apply to the Ombudsman must be exercised within six months of the date of the Insurer’s decision. 6. COMPENSATION SCHEME
The Insurer is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if the Insurer is unable to meet its obligations. This depends on the type of business and circumstances of the claim.
