Manage your spending

If you drive an Electric Vehicle as your company car, you can benefit from the lowest Benefit in Kind rates at only 16%. This will be dropping to 0% in the 2020/2021 tax year, drastically reducing costs to drivers. Businesses also benefit from a 100% First Year Write Down Allowance.
Electric vehicles are exempt from paying Congestion Charge or ULEZ charges when driving in London, as well as being exempt from VED (vehicle tax).
As national insurance rates are determined by the vehicle’s P11D value and relevant BIK rates, you can expect lower NI rates.
It has never been easier for your business to make the switch, with the government offering grants to companies installing infrastructure. Your business can benefit from 75% (up to 500£) towards the purchase and installation of each charging point on-site, with an allowance of up to 20 sockets.
