Work Placement Opportunities
Marketing
The marketing teams are at the core of our brand, playing a pivotal role in shaping, producing, and conveying our products to our target customers, ultimately contributing to the success and commercial awareness of
the Renault brand in the UK.
This Marketing Placement role is data-driven, requiring proficiency in inputting and analysing information using Microsoft Excel. It's a highly analytical position that offers comprehensive support to our product managers in various aspects, including product specifications and pricing for Renault and Dacia vehicles, plus vans. As part of this dynamic team, you may find yourself involved in launch preparations for our exciting new vehicle models, quickly becoming an expert on all aspects of our products. You will have the responsibility of keeping our website and online brochures up-to-date while also conducting competitor analyses and sharing these insights with our network of dealerships.
Human Resources
As an HR placement student, you will be involved in a wide range of HR topics. You will onboard new starters from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable employee experience from initial recruitment all the way to welcoming the new starter on their first day. You will oversee and maintain the Renault HR portal which is available to all employees and update all new starter details onto our various integrated company systems. One of your main projects will be the recruitment of the next cohort of interns, including your own replacement!

To be a placement student for Renault Group UK you must be:
- Currently studying full time for a degree with a placement or approved gap year.
- Eligible to work in the UK for 12 months from June/July each year.

You will need:
- A University Degree in any discipline.
- Experience of working in an office/sales environment, ideally as an Industrial Placement.
Apprenticeship Opportunities
We currently offer apprenticeship roles across various departments.
We are looking for motivated apprentices who share our passion for mobility and have the potential to develop and progress within our business. You can make a real and meaningful impact by helping us to reinvent the automotive industry.
You’ll need to be someone who stands out from the crowd, who challenges preconceptions, is forward thinking and eager to learn. Our apprentices are integral to our business.
On the job learning, coupled with ongoing studies will build your skills, knowledge and understanding of how we work. We won’t deny it can be challenging at times, but you’ll find Renault is a fulfilling place to work with continuous learning and development opportunities.

- GCSE English & Maths Level 5 or above.

The structure of your Graduate Programme is tailored to both you and business requirements. Our Graduate Development Programme will expose you to the exciting world of automotive through a combination of skills training and work placements. You will spend time in our key commercial departments such as Sales, Aftersales, Quality & Service and Marketing, learning about our business and contributing to our success through challenging and rewarding projects.
You will drive your own development, supported throughout by coaching and mentoring from senior managers and HR professionals to ensure you reach your potential. At the end of the two years, you could be rewarded with your first management position within the Renault Group. You can expect to develop your core skills and enjoy challenging work placements from day one.
You will be learning about the exciting world of automotive through the challenging projects and responsibilities which help contribute towards our company vision and goals. You will be assessed through quarterly appraisals and regular meetings with your line manager which will develop your core skills and allow you to enjoy a rewarding placement from day one.
You will be based at our head office in Maple Cross, Hertfordshire, just outside London, with the ability to flex with a minimum of two days in the office.
