You can download a handbook for your Renault from My Renault.  Simply download the My Renault App from the App store or Google Play. 

You'll need your VIN, your vehicle's unique identification number (it's on your V5).  Alternatively you can view all handbooks online. 

Each paint colour has a 3 digit code should you need to order some paint or a touch up stick for repairs, the paint code is on the sticker on the inside of your door jam or on a sticker in the inside cover of your handbook.

Whilst we were aware of the overall component shortage, at the time, we weren’t aware of which technical functions would be affected and which vehicles would be impacted. We are informing you at the earliest opportunity.

We would advise against this. Our genuine parts are manufactured in line with the design of the car and the fitment of any other part would mean that we wouldn’t be able to fit a genuine part when available.

This is a measurement of driving range in compliance with the new WLTP standard. 

Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedures (WLTP), gives both fuel consumption and electric vehicle driving range results that are much closer to real-life conditions compared to the previous NEDC protocol. The new test cycle was developed using real-driving data, gathered from around the world, providing more accurate driving ranges.

You can also manage your driving range remotely with My Renault: wherever you are, you can visualise the charge level and driving range of your Renault E-tech vehicle, the current charging process or your recent charge history in real-time.

Your driving style also directly affects your Renault  E-tech's electric driving range. Here are a few simple tips to optimise your driving: 

• Limit your speed and accelerationAdopt a more relaxed, gentle driving style
• Drive at a constant speed as far as possible
• Adjust your speed by controlling your acceleration, including going downhill
• Think ahead
• Use the regenerative braking: when you need to bring the vehicle to a stop, first release the accelerator pedal to decelerate gently, then stop the vehicle with the brake pedal at a lower speed.
  

When you are behind the wheel of a Renault E-tech you can check your current energy in real-time using the fuel saver. The dashboard display shows the remaining driving range calculated based on the battery charge level and your average consumption.

There are several ways you can maximise your range. The most important factor is your driving style. To increase the driving range, you should adopt eco-driving behaviour: think ahead, use the regenerative braking, drive smoothly... 

Follow the advice on your multimeda screen. At the end of each journey, it reviews your journey and gives you useful eco-driving advice to improve your driving range. And you can turn on the ECO driving mode to improve the driving range even further. The power of the air conditioning or heating and the dynamic performance of your vehicle are reduced to maximize your range.

When you start your E-tech vehicle, you hear and feel nothing. The same goes when you are stuck in a traffic jam. The electric motor only uses energy when you’re driving. When stationary, the only energy consumption is from any auxiliaries that you are using, such as the heating or air conditioning. 

So unlike in a petrol or diesel vehicle, you don’t need to worry about using fuel whilst stuck in traffic.

The impact using electronic devices has on the range on your Renault E-tech is very minimal, especially when compared to the impact from driving style, weather and topography.

Like all batteries, E-tech vehicles hold less charge in cold weather than at ambient temperature. However, the Renault ZOE has undergone extreme cold testing in Kiruna, Sweden, at -20°C, a temperature at which it worked perfectly normally. Very low temperatures can sometimes extend the charging time, affect the driving range from energy storage or increase consumption associated with the use of the heating.

The new lithium-ion batteries in Renault E-tech vehicles have no memory effect, so can be charged, even partially, at any time without their performance deteriorating prematurely. Drivers can top up their charge every day, or charge once a week – whatever works best with their lifestyle.

The battery's daily discharge rate is too low to be significant. It would take several weeks of inactivity to see a significant loss of charge.

Most of the Renault sales network is equipped with quick-charge stations in their car parks (with power of 22 kW per charge point).

Renault signed a partnership agreement with UMICORE, an international company recognised as one of the leaders in lithium-ion battery recycling. Damaged batteries or batteries that have reached the end of their life are collected, then sent to diagnosis centres where they are repurposed outside of the automotive sector, or fully recycled.

An electric car is easier and more economical to maintain than a fuel-powered car. For example, the oil in a fuel-powered car must be changed regularly to ensure correct lubrication and cooling of the engine block. Oil changes are a thing of the past with a Renault E-tech as an electric motor does not need lubricating. The same goes for your brake pads, disks and drums, which have a significantly longer life expectancy thanks to regenerative braking.

Yes, if you drive a E-tech vehicle, it's all included. 24/7 comprehensive breakdown assistance is included in the warranty.

The battery warranty is included in the battery rental for new and second-hand cars. There is no specific warranty agreement for the traction battery.
