The LAB
Created in 1969 by the Renault and PSA Groups, the LAB is an accident research and biomechanics laboratory that also studies human behaviour.

Pre-Prepared Restraints System (PRS) on Megane I with seat belt force limitation.
ESP on Laguna II and 3rd generation PRS (Adaptive Airbag). In total, over 2,000 patents have been filed for cutting-edge technological solutions (Fireman Access, SD Switch, etc.).
