active driver assist
The active driver assist system automatically regulates speed, maintains safe distances and keeps Megane centred in its lane. In slow traffic, the Stop & Go mode automatically manages stopping and restarting for smooth, effortless driving.

contextual adaptive cruise control*
It helps you maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front as you drive. The system applies the brakes when the distance is too short and, conversely, applies the accelerator when the road is clear again. It also identifies the context of the road, such as traffic jams or roundabouts, to adjust the speed ahead of time.

Adapt how Megane E-Tech electric reacts in different traffic conditions. It regulates speed, taking into account the context of the road (roundabouts, bends), maintains safe distances and ensures centering in the lane. When traffic slows down, the system allows the vehicle to stop and start automatically.

Adaptive Vision LED lights (including fog mode)
The system automatically adjusts the shape of the light beam based on traffic conditions and the weather to improve your comfort and safety.
automatic high/low beam
It is activated by a camera at the top of the windscreen. The camera analyses light flow according to lighting and traffic conditions.
hill start assist
It automatically maintains braking pressure for 2 seconds, giving you time to take your foot off the brake and press on the accelerator. The system is activated when the gradient is greater than 3%.
predictive eco-driving assistant*
The system analyses the road ahead to suggest the most efficient actions to the driver, helping to optimise energy consumption and range

cruise control and speed limiter
Control your speed with the steering wheel buttons as you drive. Set your maximum speed to keep to the speed limits on the road.

Perform your manoeuvres effortlessly, as your vehicle is equipped with 4 cameras whose images reconstitute the vehicle's immediate environment in 360°.

The system makes parking really simple. Your vehicle detects the parking space and steers for you. All you need to do is press down on the accelerator.
rear view camera
It transmits a rear view to the screen when you put the vehicle into reverse. Guiding lines make your manoeuvres easier and safer.

Electric foldable wing mirrors with a profile memory function, and a tilt function in reverse.
front park assist
It features sensors that make manoeuvring easier by using a combination of audio and visual signals to alert you to obstacles in front of you.

rear cross traffic alert
Get alerted to any obstacles approaching from the rear.
occupant safe exit alert*
When stopped and you or a passenger opens one of the doors, it warns of danger if another vehicle suddenly appears. A visual warning appears in the rearview mirror, and an alert sounds from the dashboard.

The vehicle corrects the trajectory automatically if it detects a possible collision when changing lanes.

Your vehicle brakes automatically if there are obstacles to the rear of your vehicle when reversing.
distance warning
A sensor on the front of your vehicle calculates the safe distance from the vehicle in front. If there is a risk of collision, the system triggers an audible and visual alert.
lane departure warning and (emergency) prevention
Activated between 43 and 99 miles per hour, the system steers your vehicle back into its lane if it crosses a continuous or broken line without using indicators.

This system uses warning lights to alert you
about the presence of vehicles that are not visible in your field vision in an urban environment. If the vehicle detects a risk of a collision the braking
force is increased.
lane departure warning
Using a camera fixed on the windscreen behind the rearview mirror, the system detects if a continuous or broken line is accidentally crossed and warns the driver.

Activated between 43 and 99 miles per hour, the system steers your vehicle back into its lane if it crosses a continuous or broken line without using indicators.
blind spot warning
Activated from 9 miles per hour, it uses light signals to warn you of vehicles that are outside your field of vision.

traffic sign recognition with speed alert
It provides information on speed limits and warns you if you are speeding. It then automatically adjusts the cruise control to the legal speed.
emergency stop assistant*
The system acts as a complement to active driverassist, slowing down the vehicle until it is back in its lane (if possible) in the event of driver inactivity (non-detection of hands on the wheel).

passive safety
safety score
The safety score analyses your driving behaviour after each trip. It takes into account parameters such as speed, trajectory, respect for safe distances and vigilance, then assigns a driving score ranging from 0 to 100, allowing you to visualise your level of caution. The safety coach then offers you personalised advice to enhance your safety, adopt more responsible reflexes and make every journey an opportunity to progress towards safer driving. You can also take advantage of the safety monitor to receive advice directly on your dashboard.

Megane E-Tech electric with active driver assist visualises traffic and displays it on your instrument panel so you can assess and better respond to your environment.
QRescue
Working with the fire brigade to determine how to make their interventions easier, this QR code has been made a standard feature since 2022 on the Renault Megane E-Tech electric's front and rear windscreens. It can be scanned to let emergency services gain quick access to the vehicle’s technical data, helping them save up to 15 minutes of intervention time.
SD Switch
The SD Switch is a mechanical switch that disconnects the battery from the electrical circuitry. Although our high-voltage batteries are designed to switch to electrical safety mode in the event of an accident, we recommend that firefighters use the SD Switch in the event of a violent impact to guarantee absolute electrical safety.
Fireman Access
Even though the high-voltage batteries of Renault vehicles are designed to prevent fire outbreaks - during normal use and in the event of an accident - a fire started by external causes can spread to the battery. The Fireman Access can be used to extinguish it in a few minutes allowing firefighters to head straight to another call-out.
