electric platform
Renault 4’s new AmpR Small platform provides an extremely low centre of gravity, significant weight reduction and improved weight distribution. The precise steering and effective damping make driving effortless. The compact electric motor, delivering 150 hp (110 kW) adds a dynamic edge to your drive.
driving pleasure
The multi-link rear axle, optimised front suspension and reduced turning radius make Renault 4 agile. The vehicle’s road handling and dynamic performance offer a whole new driving experience.
driving comfort with One Pedal built-in¹
With the innovative regenerative braking system on Renault 4, energy recovery is optimised with every deceleration. Among the four braking levels controlled via the steering wheel paddles, One Pedal mode lets you come to a complete stop without touching the brake pedal.
comfortable “cocoon-effect” interior
Renault’s unique 'Cocoon Effect' insulation reduces vibrations and road noise for a quieter, more comfortable drive. Its spacious design, with a 1.53m width and 2.62m wheelbase, ensures a smooth and relaxing journey.
optimised driving range
Travel up to 247 miles* in your fully charged Renault 4. The driving range is enhanced by the motor’s high efficiency and smart energy management.
regenerative braking
The energy recovery system charges the battery when you slow down or brake. Renault 4 is the first to feature the One Pedal* function, allowing you to slow down and stop by simply lifting your foot off the accelerator—no need to press the brake. Use the steering wheel paddles to activate and adjust the regenerative braking modes.

thermal management
The heat pump, coupled with the motor’s and the battery’s energy recovery system, boosts Renault 4’s driving range. It also helps regulate cabin temperature, keeping passengers comfortable no matter the season.
AC charging, for easier journeys
Renault 4 charges easily anywhere. With its 11kW AC charger, compatible with public charging stations, you can recover 50% in just under 2 and a half hours2.
AC charging explained: AC (alternating current) charging is the most common way to charge at home or public points, offering low to moderate power up to 22 kW.
DC fast charging for long trips
Renault 4 is compatible with all major UK and European charging networks. With DC fast charging, you can top up to 80% from 15% in just 30 minutes3. DC (direct current) fast charging, starting at 50 kW, requires a rapid charge point, available at public stations across the UK.
optimised charging on the road
Renault 4 offers battery temperature pre-conditioning to help you charge more quickly. When you plan your route on the built-in Google Maps1, your vehicle automatically adjusts the battery temperature. The system also advises you on the ideal percentage of energy to recover.
