What is the ULEZ?
The Ultra-Low Emission Zone operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year, covering the same area of central London as the Congestion Zone. Put in place to help improve air quality, heavy-polluting vehicles must pay daily charges when entering the area.
As Renault Z.E. vehicles emit no emissions whilst driving, they are exempt from any charges — including the Congestion Zone charges, once the vehicle is registered with Transport For London.
How much does it cost?
The scheme operates from midnight to midnight, so driving within the ULEZ across two days will make you liable for paying two charges.
The ULEZ standards are:

On the go with Renault Z.E
Back in 2010, the Government launched the current Plug-in Grants available for certain cars and vans, to help reduce carbon emissions in the UK.
The Renault ZOE comes under category 1, which means it qualifies for the highest level of support - £3,500. As a Renault customer you do not need to apply, your dealer will include the value of the grant in the vehicle’s price.
Kangoo Z.E. & Master Z.E.
As a Renault Pro+ customer you do not need to apply, your dealer will include the value of the grant in the vehicle’s price. The grant will pay for 20% of the purchase price for these vehicles, up to a maximum of £8,000.
