How do I charge the high-voltage battery?

There are three different ways to charge it:

• By recovering energy during deceleration and braking. This is known as regenerative braking: the kinetic energy generated by motion is converted into electrical energy.
• By optimising the combustion engine to generate electricity when running in hybrid or combustion mode.
• By connecting the vehicle to an electric charging station, a feature available only on plug-in hybrid vehicles.
