Renault is returning to London’s iconic Oxford Street with its most ambitious retail activation yet, as maison renault showcases the first UK public appearance of a near production version of the phenomenal 555 hp Renault 5 Turbo 3E at Future Stores from 18th–26th April.

The limited edition ‘mini supercar’ will headline the award-winning line-up of Renault’s latest all-electric stars at the event, joining the Renault 5 E-Tech electric, Renault 4 E-Tech electric and the new Renault Twingo E-Tech electric in a single immersive space for the first time in the UK.

Combining heritage-inspired design with extreme capability, the Renault 5 Turbo 3E highlights the performance potential of Renault’s next-generation electric vehicles in a limited-run model that redefines expectations of what a compact EV can deliver. Only 1,980 examples will be made – a reference to the year that the first Renault Turbo was produced – and it is the most powerful production car that Renault has ever made, its pure-electric drivetrain giving it a top speed approaching 170 mph.

In addition, visitors can virtually experience the thrill of the 555 hp Renault 5 Turbo 3E on a driving simulator, with professional driver and automotive influencer Becky Evans – Queen B – setting a lap on Saturday 18th April that will be the benchmark to beat. Whoever tops the leader board at the end of maison renault will win two ground admission tickets to Goodwood, and there will also be prizes for ‘Best Lap of the Day’ during the following week.

The event offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience Renault’s electric vision up close, where retro-futuristic design meets cutting-edge technology across a compact, city-friendly range already winning widespread critical acclaim.

After amassing widespread acclaim in the automotive media and following a flying visit to rnlt - Renault’s innovative retail environment at Battersea – the Twingo, known effacingly as ‘Le Frog’ due to its distinctive front-end design has hopped back over the Channel to maison renault.
With its playful styling, compact proportions and unmistakable personality, it brings a fresh sense of fun to electric driving, making it perfectly suited to life in a busy city like London.

Alongside it, the multi-award-winning Renault 5 E-Tech electric continues to capture the imagination of judges and customers alike with its distinctive design, engaging driving experience and everyday usability. Renault 4 E-Tech electric complements this with a fresh interpretation of a practical icon, blending versatility with modern electric performance.

As with the previous show-stopping Maison 5 and Maison 4 activations, the Future Stores space will be transformed into a vibrant, multi-sensory environment. Visitors will be able to explore the cars up close while large-format digital displays highlight key technologies, design details and features that underpin Renault’s latest electric models.

The experience will also include live performances, interactive elements and exclusive merchandise, creating a destination that blends automotive innovation with culture and entertainment in the heart of London.

David Isherwood, Marketing Director, Renault UK, said: “With maison renault, we’re bringing together the most exciting expression yet of our electric strategy in a way that people can experience for themselves. Each of these vehicles has its own distinct personality, and together they show how Renault is making electric mobility more desirable, more exciting, more accessible and more relevant to everyday life than ever before.”

Building on strong momentum across its electric range, maison renault highlights the breadth and strength of Renault’s compact EV offering – from accessible city cars to high-performance halo models – all designed with real-world usability and enjoyment at their core.

Open from 18th–26th April at Future Stores, 95 Oxford Street, W1D 2AD, maison renault is expected to attract thousands of visitors across the week, once again placing Renault at the centre of one of the world’s most famous shopping destinations.
