Renault Sport has confirmed R.S. Days France will take place on 3-4 October when Clio Cup France, Alpine Cup and GT4 will also be in race action.

There will also be a wealth of activities, including a meeting with Laurent Hurgon, the test and development driver behind the famous Mégane R.S. range.
Hurgon was responsible recently for Renault Sport achieving new fastest front-wheel-drive lap records around the Nürburgring ‘Nordschleife’, Suzuka and Spa-Francorchamps circuits at the wheel of the New Mégane R.S Trophy-R.
Other activities are set to include:
This will be the second edition of the R.S. Days France organised at Paul Ricard, after a 2019 edition was created following an initial ‘community event’ around the Clio Cup racing brand in 2018.
This year, the Paul Ricard circuit is celebrating its half-century. Its rich history includes some great motorsport memories in which Renault’s cars have certainly played an integral part. These include wins for Renault’s team in the 1982 and 1983 French F1 Grands Prix for René Arnoux and Alain Prost with Renault’s legendary V6 turbocharged RE30 and RE40 cars.
Robert Bonetto, Managing Director Renault Sport Cars, commented: “I'm looking forward to my first R.S. Days as Managing Director of Renault Sport Cars.
“It’s a unique opportunity to show the direct links between our racing cars and the models in our sports range, in the purest ‘from-track-to-road’ spirit.
“The Le Castellet (Paul Ricard) event is a happy return to the world of competitive racing after the forced break this spring, which will be followed by other incentives between now and the end of the year, notably with rallies in France with our Clio V Rally, the great inspiration for the Clio R.S. Line.”
The R.S. Days are organised in various European countries, almost systematically as part of the Formula Renault Eurocup and Clio Cup championships.
