With power-to-object, bi-directional V2L charging, use Renault 4’s battery to power various outdoor devices and equipment such as an electric bike. This feature turns your vehicle into a mobile power source, ideal for outdoor activities or emergency power needs.
Domestic and public charging stations use alternating current (AC).
As the vehicle's battery operates on direct current, the onboard charger converts alternating current into direct current when your car is plugged into a conventional terminal.
At home, simply install a reinforced socket or charging station to charge your vehicle using the Type 2 cable supplied. For occasional use, you can also charge from a household socket using the optional FlexCharger cable.
The home charging station must be either 7.4 kW AC single-phase or 11 kW AC 3-phase. Suitable cables are type 2 or Flexicharger, the latter being designed for reinforced household sockets.
